Strategic Account Manager

The Strategic Key Account Manager will be responsible for managing relationships within its Footlocker Account and building and leading a team to support business growth. We seek a seasoned sales leader who can bring fresh perspectives and identify key growth opportunities.

The role involves servicing the designated account, achieving budgeted objectives, and maximising profitability. Reporting to the Sales Director, the Strategic Account Manager will collaborate closely with finance, marketing, and product teams to ensure smooth operations.

The role includes:
  • Manage Strategic Accounts - In order to achieve corporate objectives and budgeted targets.
  • Build long term profitable business partnership.
  • Develop and execute clear strategic business plans with regards to product, pricing, marketing, in-store and logistical excellence.
  • Ensure successful integration of seasonal sales and marketing initiatives.
  • Effective communication to departments/stakeholders both internally and externally.
  • Ability to understand and analyse retail data.

The Head of Retail is a hands-on leadership position responsible for overseeing and driving the overall success of our clients global retail store portfolio. As a visionary leader, you will develop and implement strategic plans to fuel business growth and enhance our customer experience. Leading a team of directors and senior managers, you will ensure seamless coordination and alignment across multiple departments/divisions/regions within the retail channel.


As Head of Retail, you will develop and implement a strategy to achieve both departmental and company-wide business objectives. You will also provide leadership across and field teams and support them in developing personal and professional competencies.

The role includes:
  • Develop retail vision, strategy, and plan to drive top-line growth and bottom-line profitability, working across both full-price and outlet store portfolio.
  • Create an exceptional retail experience through impactful merchandising, product assortment, and operational improvements.
  • Oversee customer experience and retail operations at all locations to drive sales across both owned & operated and franchise retail stores.
  • Lead retail buying team and national support roles.
  • Analyse sales data, consumer trends, and industry developments to identify growth opportunities, optimising inventory levels and merchandise planning objectives.
  • Ensure strong retail KPIs including sales, margins, shrinkage, and inventory turns.

Required Skills:
  • 10+ years of experience in an international retail leadership role for a retail brand, including five years of managerial experience as well as at least five years of direct P&L responsibility and an outstanding track record in meeting financial goals as well as marketing a brand successfully through a retail channel.
  • Proven track record in achieving retail business growth and excellence.
  • Experienced and confident to lead and inspire senior level management.
  • International mindset and deep knowledge of global retail brands, markets, trends and strategies.
  • Must be able to thrive in a lean & dynamic business environment, working closely with family owners in a business with humble & collaborative culture.

  • As a Footwear Developer at Agilitas, your role transcends crafting shoes; you're sculpting the foundation for dynamic movement. Your game plan includes:
  • Game-Changing Product Development: Drive the creation of sports footwear that becomes a game-changer, ensuring designs align with the needs of athletes and the Agilitas brand.
  • Strategic Playmaking: Collaborate on design tech packages, executing plays that ensure premium performance, fit, durability and style.
  • Championing Quality Standards: Generate and maintain accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs), emphasising materials, pricing, and manufacturing processes that uphold the premium quality of our footwear.
  • Innovative Problem Solving: Proactively identify challenges and present alternative solutions in constructions, materials, costing, and duties, ensuring Agilitas stays well ahead of the competition.
  • Technical Excellence: Review technical drawings, lab test results, patterns, components, and lasts to ensure best-in-class performance.
  • Game-Time Execution: Plan and execute development projects, ensuring timely delivery of technical information and approval of production confirmation samples for a seamless transition into commercialisation.
  • Fit & Wear Mastery: Manage the diagnosis of potential fit, durability and performance issues early in the development process ensuring successful commercialisation and mass production that aligns with the demands of sports enthusiasts.
  • Global Team Play: Travel to development factories and sports events as necessary, collaborating with internal teams and external partners to ensure Agilitas maintains a winning streak.
Required Skills:
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, materials science, or other technical field.
  • Proven experience: 5- 8 years' experience in the footwear industry, preferably in development, engineering, commercialisation, or production.
  • Technical Knowledge: understanding of footwear manufacturing processes, familiarity with reading and editing 2D designs and 3D models, knowledge of the mechanical properties of upper and bottom materials, and an aptitude for costing.
  • Materials Expertise: Deep understanding of upper materials, rubber, foam, and associated construction techniques.
  • Passion for Sport and for Serving the Consumer: Deep interest in understanding and serving a range of people, from the professional athlete to the style-conscious consumer.
