About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Client Manager to join our client services team. Reporting to the Partnership Director, you will initially engage in consultancy projects with retailers, progressing to lead the commercial and client output for a major U.S. retail partnership. You will also focus on team development and process improvements to drive continuous growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Direct and guide the team, setting the agenda and identifying growth opportunities. Enhance processes for increased efficiency.
- Commercial Management: Oversee the commercial aspects of the account, develop plans to meet targets, and contribute to annual budget planning. Experience in forecasting and P&L management is essential.
- Team Development: Lead a diverse team, from Associates to Managers. Create and monitor work plans, conduct performance reviews, and provide coaching. Evaluate team performance, address skills gaps, and ensure effective performance management. Participate in recruitment as the team expands.
- Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong client relationships, delivering excellent service to both retailer partners and branded clients. Resolve challenges and manage senior stakeholder relationships effectively.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure high-quality output from the team, collaborating with the Campaign Team to create and review impactful campaigns that demonstrate creative thinking and precision planning.
- Campaign Evaluation: Work with the in-house insight team to deliver timely campaign results using proprietary software. Lead discussions on evaluation metrics like ROI, sales uplift, and impressions.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Foster collaboration with counterparts in other business areas, ensuring effective communication and cohesive team functioning.
Ideal Candidate
- Significant experience in client-facing, commercial, and business leadership roles within marketing, retail media, CPG, media agency, sales, or retail tech sectors.
- Expertise in planning and executing commerce/media campaigns is advantageous.
- Experience in omnichannel retail media.
- Proven track record of business growth in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong commercial acumen and proficiency with data and financial reporting.
- Exceptional professionalism and a strong drive to succeed.
- Ability to work effectively with multiple senior stakeholders to deliver top-tier client service.
